Connor and I met through the sports world during my freshman year and his sophomore year at the University of Denver, where he played Division I hockey and I played Division I soccer. Not long after, he asked me to dinner, and we went to what’s now one of our favorite spots, Postino’s!

Since then, life together has been full of adventures. Every summer, we’ve taken trips to Costa Rica, but the summer of 2025 was extra special. Both of our families joined us there, and on the same beach we’d visited for years, Connor got down on one knee and proposed.

This past year, we’ve been living abroad in Europe for Connor’s professional hockey career, creating new memories together and exploring life in a new country. No matter where we are, we always feel at home with each other and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter surrounded by the people we love most.
